Abstract

Aortic aneurysms have a high incidence rate within the United States and are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. With the emergence of technical advances in CT technology, Multi-detector row technology with high-resolution CTA and postprocessing has become the standard of care in the pretreatment evaluation and follow-up of patients being considered for endovascular aortic repair. The aim of this chapter is to provide details for CT/CTA diagnosis of aortic aneurysms, with focus on the pre- and postoperative evaluation of TEVAR and EVAR.
