Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: Primary Objective To determine whether antidepressants are clinically efficacious in the treatment of depression in adults infected with HIV. Secondary Objectives To determine which anti-depressant class is most efficacious for the treatment of depression in adults infected with HIV. To determine if the side-effect profile of antidepressant therapy is tolerable for adults infected with HIV. To determine if antidepressant therapy is acceptable to adults infected with HIV.
