Abstract
The delivery of controlled concentrations of potent inhaled agents to the patient is an essential component of general inhalational anesthesia. Anesthesia vaporizers are the devices that facilitate the change of a liquid anesthetic into its vapor phase and add a controlled amount of this vapor to the flow of gases that will enter the patient’s breathing circuit.
