Abstract
Analgesic nephropathy was encountered in 9% of patients referred to the Renal Clinic in Kuwait over a 6 month period. Clinical and other features in 23 patients are presented and the findings discussed in relation to the literature. Analgesic nephropathy is an important cause of preventable and potentially reversible renal dysfunction in Kuwait.
