Abstract

Hodgkin's disease, nodular sclerosis type, stage III B, with post-therapy relapse to stage IV B, subsequently treated aggressively with radiation and chemotherapy. Acute myelomonocytic leukemia, secondary to aggressive radiation and chemotherapy, treated with cytosine arabinoside, with remission. Thrombocytopenia, secondary to the preceding diagnosis. Bone marrow transplant, followed by graft-versus-host reaction, and by terminal respiratory distress syndrome secondary to cytomegalovirus infection.
