Abstract

Two H-2a+/H-2s - alloantigenic loss variants have been obtained from an H-2a+/H-2s+ mouse lymphoma/sarcoma hybrid, YACIR/MSWBS, by in vitro selection, with repeated exposure to anti-H-2s serum and complement. Loss of the MSWBS derived H-2s complex was associated with the loss of the morphologically distinguishable, translocated MSWBS derived chromosomes 17. The morphologically normal YACIR-derived chromosomes 17 were maintained.
