In this comprehensive chapter, we will review the presentation and pathophysiology of insulinomas, the most common functional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. We will discuss in detail how to diagnose and localize these tumors. Additionally, we will review the comprehensive surgical treatment including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative management. We will also discuss medical treatments, as well how to manage cases of malignant insulinoma and review outcomes of treatment.
