Abstract
Using heteropoly acids as an alkylation catalyst is a new attempt. Various properties of heteropoly acids for alkylation catalyst were investigated. Important results were obtained on the adsorption of organic molecules by H3PW12O40 and H3PMo12O40 as well as the acidity and the physico-chemical properties of the heteropoly acids, which had not yet been published by other researchers.
