Abstract
A patient with an adrenal rest cell tumor of the ovary is described. Although the level of testosterone was elevated both in peripheral blood and ovarian vein blood, no corticoid excess was present. The authors suggest that classifications of ovarian tumors based on morphology may have no clinical value.
