Abstract
The incidence and clinical significance of adrenal myelolipoma is discussed. A review of clinically encountered examples of this tumor is presented, emphasizing diagnostic features and correlates of the disease with obesity and hypertension. An attempt is made to relate the pathogenesis of this disorder to tumor necrosis or necrosis of normal tissues in response to trauma or imparied circulation.
