Abstract
A great many products and procedures exist for nonsurgical improvement of the facial skin. Safety and effectiveness must be considered when embarking on a treatment plan. First, a topical regimen that includes a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen must be chosen. Second, relatively simple lunchtime procedures, such as the injection of augmenting fillers and botulinum toxin, may be used to smooth surface lines and shadows. With just these relatively simple techniques, physicians may achieve remarkable improvements in the facial skin of their patients.
