Abstract
This fibroblast culture was established from a skin biopsy of a 27-year-old white female with a balanced translocation of the distal part of the long arm of chromosome 4. Her medical history included a spontaneous miscarriage in 1973 and a child, born in 1974, which subsequently died. This child was found to have an abnormal chromosome 4 and a partial trisomy of the long arm of chromosome 10 believed responsible for numerous congenital anomalies.
