Abstract

The title compound, C₈H₅FN₄O₂S, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-fluoro-4-nitro-benzoic acid and thio-semicarbazide. The dihedral angle between the thia-diazole and benzene rings is 27.1 (2)°. In the crystal, inter-molecular N - H⋯N and C - H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules.
