PROJECT NARRATIVE The overarching goal of this proposal is to understand immune imprinting and memory recall on a molecular level. We wish to determine the structural correlates of antibody protection against evolving viral pathogens by mapping of antibody epitopes onto protein structure. Insights gained will not only shed light on the basic B cell biology but may also inform better vaccination strategies.
