Description
PROJECT NARRATIVE:
Macrophages represent an understudied component of the blood stem cell niche. The studies proposed in
this grant application will define bone marrow resident macrophages, and investigate how they regulate stem
cell mobilization and regeneration. The proposed work has important implications for the treatment of blood
disorders.
