Biography
Dr. Zoe Rodriguez is the Vice Chair of Operations of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Medical Director of OB/GYN outpatient services at Phillips Ambulatory Care Center. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Rodriguez has twice been named “Faculty Teacher of the Year”, is an APGO Surgical Scholar for hysteroscopic procedures, and has been instrumental in assessing needs and introducing new and long living processes for the OB/GYN residency program at MSBI. Dr. Rodriguez received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westchester Medical Center and at Metropolitan Hospital Center in NYC. Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the Beth Israel Medical Board and the bylaws committee for the Mount Sinai Health System. She is a member of Transgender Planning Committe, and had been interviewed on local TV for her work with transgender individuals. Interests also include minimally invasive surgery including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, adnexal surgery and hysteroscopy.
