Biography
Youyin Choy MD,FACOG received her Bachelor of Science Degree at Cornell University in 1993 and Medical Doctorate at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Medicine in Brooklyn with Honors in 1997. Dr. Choy completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) at Newark where she received the Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Award and the New Jersey Maternal Fetal Medicine Society Research Award. After she graduated from her residency training in 2001, she was a full time faculty member with an academic title of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University School of Medicine and earned a teaching award for her dedication to teaching medical students. In 2006, Dr. Choy joined the current Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center faculty practice to pursue her interest in clinical medicine. She has received recognitions as one of the best doctors in New York. Throughout her career, she has published articles in many peer reviewed journals. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Choy speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. She practiced in two offices at 20 East 46th Street, 403, New York, NY 10017 and at 360 First Avenue, MH, New York, NY 10010.
