Biography
Dr. Robakisis an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai. Her research interests centeron early life stress and its impacts on maternal mental and physical health andon infant behavior and development. Her current projects include an assessmentof how maternal attachment style and psychiatric history are associated withbehavioral development in preschoolers; studies of epigenetic markers inmothers and infants in association with maternal trauma history and attachmentinsecurity; and an industry-sponsored trial of a wearable neurostimulator forpostpartum depression. She also collaborates with researchers at StanfordUniversity, Rockefeller University, and other institutions in the https://www.pals-network.org/ PALS (Psychopathology and Allostatic Load Across the Lifespan) networkto explore the psychiatric, metabolic, immunological, and other outcomesassociated with contributors to allostatic load.
