Susan Rothenberg

Assistant Professor

Dr. Susan Rothenberg began practicing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in 1997 as a member of Downtown Women Ob/Gyn Associates, later joining the faculty practice in 2000. Dr. Rothenberg earned her medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse. She then completed her residency at Maimonides Medical Center, where she received an award for Outstanding Woman Resident and pursued special coursework in resident teaching. Dr. Rothenberg serves as the associate director for our Obstetric program and the director of information technology for the department, while maintaining an active general obstetrics and gynecology practice. She also has an interest and expertise in supporting and promoting breastfeeding, and has spoken at regional and national meetings on this topic. Board-certified since 1999, she is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
