Biography
Biography Supinda Bunyavanich, MD, MPH, MPhil is an Associate Professor and practicing Allergist/Immunologist in the Department of Pediatrics and Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences. She is also a member of the Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology and the Mindich Child Health and Development Institute. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, she served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Bunyavanich is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Allergy and Immunology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Bunyavanich teaches medical students and fellows, and she provides comprehensive allergy care in the ambulatory and inpatient settings. Dr. Bunyavanich directs an NIH-funded research group that focuses on the epidemiology and integrative genomics of asthma and allergic disorders.
