Biography
Samuel Acquah, MD, FCCP, is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Acquah is the Director of the Medical Critical Care Unit for The Mount Sinai Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine and Neurocritical Care. Dr. Acquah is a member of a multitude of internal committees including Clinical Review Committee and Organ Donor Council. He is a member of numerous professional organization includng the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society and Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and is an invited lecturer at national meetings.
