Biography

Ruchika Batwara, MD is a clinical nephrologist who graduated from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 2003. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2007 and Nephrology Fellowship at New York University in 2010. Following completion of training, she practiced in New Jersey as a nephrologist for six years and took care of a large practice of patients with kidney disease and those on dialysis. Dr Batwara joined the Nephrology Division at Mount Sinai St Luke’s and Mount Sinai West in 2019 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is actively engaged as a clinician and educator for fellows and house staff, and also serves as the Medical Director of the inpatient Dialysis Unit at Mount Sinai West.
