Biography
Dr. Cohen received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in 1997. He received his degree in dental surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2002, and subsequently completed a research fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and an internship at Charity Hospital, both in New Orleans. In 2007, Dr. Cohen completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That same year, he also completed a surgical implant program at the Carl Misch International Implant Institute. Dr. Cohen practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with special focus on the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, craniofacial deformities, pathology, and dental implantology. Dr. Cohen is on staff at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and is board certified in dental anesthesiology. Born in France, Dr. Cohen grew up in Paris and Los Angeles. He travels regularly to Africa to provide free surgical treatment to children born with facial deformities. He lives on Manhattan's Upper East Side and is always available to his patients.
