Dr. Sunderwirth is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Senior Attending, Assistant Professor, and Director of the Global Health Division in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center. She graduated from the University of Paris Medical School (Paris VI - Pierre et Marie Curie), France, completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx and was a Chief Resident. Dr. Sunderwirth is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatrics Emergency Medicine, and has a Masters of Public Health from Columbia School of Public Health, New York. She is a FAAP, FAWM, CTropMed, CTH. Double Boarded Pediatric/Pediatric Emergency Medicine, MPH (Columbia School of Public Health, NY. Fellow of AAP, Fellow Academy Wilderness Medicine. Certificate of Tropical Medicine (ASTMH), CTH (ISTM).
