Biography

Miriam Chung, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology. She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai, completed residency training at Yale, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chung then completed her Nephrology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell, and Glomerular Diseases fellowship at Columbia. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, she was a Nephrologist at Rogosin Institute/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine where she was active in the education of residents, fellows and students, and received multiple teaching awards.
