Biography
Dr. Lin is an emergency physician and health policy researcher who aims to measure and improve the value of emergency care. She has received awards from the Emergency Medicine Foundation, the American Board of Medical Specialties and the ABIM Foundation. She been invited to speak at national meetings, including ACEP, SAEM and AAMC, regarding her work. Dr. Lin's projects have investigated the financial impact of alternative payment models for emergency care, variation in ED admission rates, and the cost-effectiveness of implementing Choosing Wisely recommendations. Dr. Lin completed residency at NYU/ Bellevue and fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, including a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health.
