Melanie Besculides, DrPH is an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Healthcare Delivery Science, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Besculides specializes in mixed-methods evaluation research. She has worked in many arenas of health including cancer, women’s health, infant health, nutrition, cardiovascular disease, and orthopedics. Dr. Besculides has evaluated machine learning algorithms, remote patient monitoring efforts, screening programs, train-the-trainer models, and educational initiatives. Her work has been at the hospital system, city, state, and federal levels.
