Biography

Dr. Jackson is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. She received her bachelors degree in Economics from New York University, and her medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She completed her residency training in Chicago at Rush University Medical Center. Upon her return to NYC in 2007, Dr. Jackson worked as a staff physician at Jamaica Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital, where she supervised residents, taught medical students, and worked in clinics in underserved areas in Queens, and East Harlem. She has also worked in the world of private practice on the upper west side for several years. Currently she is an Assistant Clinical Professor of OBGYN at Mount Sinai, and has worked primarily as a laborist for the last 2 1/2 years.Dr. Jackson’s areas of interest include adolescent health, contraceptive education, obstetrical health, and labor/postpartum support. Her goal is to provide support and guidance to her patients wherever they are in their reproductive or post-reproductive journey.
