ASSISTANT PROFESSOR | Radiation Oncology
Dr. Bloom is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She specializes in the treatment of gynecologic, breast, thoracic and ocular malignancies with radiation therapy.
Dr. Bloom uses advanced radiation techniques, such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, proton therapy, brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiation therapy, to precisely target cancers while minimizing radiation dose to healthy tissue. She collaborates with surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other radiation oncologists to ensure she is providing the best possible personalized care for each patient.
As she develops personalized treatment plans, she works closely with patients and their caregivers so they can feel confident that their care aligns with their priorities and values. She cares deeply about supporting patients during and after treatment, helping them maintain a high quality of life.
