Biography
Ira S. Meisels, M.D. graduated Yale School of Medicine in 1990 and completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital, Boston. He is Chief of the Division of Nephrology of Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai Roosevelt and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. An active clinician and educator, he is co-Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of the National Kidney Foundation of GNY and a past committee chair of the Renal Physicians Association
