Dr. Sara was the recipient of the 2004 “Wholeness of Life” award for Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt. He has been cited yearly since 1997 in the Hematology/Oncology section of "Top Doctors: New York Metro Area" by Castle Connolly. He has been cited in the "Super Doctors” edition of the New York Times Magazine (April 2008, April 2009, April 2010, April 2011). Dr. Sara is among New York Magazine's "Best Doctors" for 2008, as listed in the June 16, 2008 edition of the magazine. The New York Magazine list is excerpted from Castle Connolly's annual guidebook, "Top Doctors: New York Metro Area."
