Biography
Debra Zane is a Clinical Assistant Attending of Emergency Medicine at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Pediatric Emergency Room. She received her MD from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, and completed a Residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center. Prior to joining the Emergency Medicine faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine Dr. Zane held the faculty title of Clinical Assistant professor in both Departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at AECOM. Her current interests are didactic and bedside teaching of residents and medical students; design and production of caregiver discharge information access; liaison activity with the good Shepherd Services, local residential home for teenagers, Good Shepherd Services; and is the Patient Experience Champion for the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Department of Emergency Medicine.
