Biography
Dr. Carmit Archibald graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a BS in Biology and departmental honors. She continued her education at Yale University in the School of Medicine, where she received her MD degree. Dr. Archibald pursued her residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she received multiple teaching awards, as well as the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. After completion of her residency, Dr. Archibald practiced with Mount Kisco Medical Group, then with Cityscape OB/GYN in Manhattan. She is currently a co-owner of Upper East Side Gynecology and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Archibald became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. She is an active member in several professional organizations such as the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), and the American Society for Colposcopy Cervical Pathology (ASCCP).Dr. Archibald is the mother of three young children. She is conversant in Hebrew and Spanish. Please Note: Due to the large volume of patients in our practice, we require at least 24 hour notification of a cancellation. This enables us to offer your appointment time to another patient who needs to be seen. Cancellation notifications can be performed by phone, on ZocDoc, or on the portal. Failure to arrive by 15 minutes after the start of your appointment is considered a no-show. Please be advised that if you do not provide 24 hour notice, a late fee will be charged.
