Dr. Bruce Katz is Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, Director of the Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital and Director of the Juva Skin & Laser Center in New York. Dr. Katz, who has been named repeatedly by New York Magazine as one of the best doctors in New York, has been a frequent guest on national and international news shows including The Today Show, Dr. Oz Show, The Doctors, The View, 20/20, Good Morning America, and CNN. Dr. Katz is a leading innovator of advanced laser technology, the internationally recognized SmartLipo and “Madonna Lift” as well as other skin rejuvenation techniques. Dr. Katz was the only dermatologist in the country to be involved in the FDA trials for the revolutionary new Cellulaze treatment for cellulite and the first doctor in New York to perform this procedure. Carried out at the Juva Foundation Research Center, this facility conducts national clinical studies on new technologies and products coming into the U.S. It is also the only world training center for doctors to learn the Cellulaze procedure. Dr. Katz has published extensively in leading medical and scientific journals and lectures regularly at medical symposia in the United States and abroad.
