Biography

Dr. Boris M. Petrikovsky is a board certified OBGYN (Obstetrician & Gynecologist)and MFM ( Maternal Fetal Medicine) in New York, NY. Dr. Petrikovsky is currently a active consultant in these fields. Dr. Petrikovsky graduated from Moscow State University of Medicine & Dentistry in 1978. Dr. Petrikovsky completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center. After residency, he went on to complete a Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.Dr. Petrikovsky has an extensive teaching history. He previously had been Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, a Professor at the NYU School of Medicine and Post-Graduate Medical School, as well as the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.Dr. Petrikovsky has been a traveling research Fellow in Fetal Medicine as well as the winner of several prestigious awards such as The New York Perinatal Society Research Award.In addition to his busy MFM practice with Ocean Perinatology, he also with Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Petrikovsky is beloved by both his patients and their families for his kindness and dedicated care.Dr. Petrikovsky has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Boards of the Journal of Neonatal Intensive Care, Journal of Pediatrics (Russian Edition), as well as Ultrasound Diagnosis in Obstetrics, Gynecology & Pediatrics. He has also been a Reviewer for The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, The Journal of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Journal of Perinatology, in addition to a number of European journals, to name a few.
