Biography

Bobby Liaw, M.D. specializes in the treatment of genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He attended Cornell University and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, graduated internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston, and completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. In addition to providing multidisciplinary care in the fields of genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers, he is actively involved in clinical research. His main academic interests are in the translational and clinical investigation of genitourinary malignancies, with particular interests in developing new biomarkers and treatment strategies for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. A close personal interest of his is to help bridge cultural gaps in order to improve quality and access to healthcare to the Asian American community.
