Biography
Bahar Moghaddam, MD is an Assistant Professor of medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Moghaddam received her BA and MS in stem cell biology, and medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of British Columbia. She returned to the University of Toronto for her fellowship in rheumatology where she served as Chief Resident. During her training she completed research in lupus related mortality and neuropsychiatric lupus. Her clinical interests include management of rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue diseases and vasculitis, particularly in women and young adults.
