At the 2001 American Urogynecological Society Annual Meeting, Dr. Hardart made three presentations of her research on the tension-free vaginal tape procedure for incontinence, on its short-term outcome, on urinary retention following the procedure, and on its efficacy in treating intrinsic sphincteric deficiency. At the conference, she also presented her research validating a Spanish version of the pelvic organ prolapse incontinence sexual questionnaire. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Urogynecological Society, and the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists.
