Biography

Dr. Ali Payami is a graduate of York University in Toronto where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Kinesiology. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Payami also attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD). His General Surgery internship, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency and chief residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery were all completed at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. His surgical skills encompass the entire scope of the specialty including: Dentoalveolar Surgery, Dental Implant Surgery and Bone Grafting, Jaw Corrective (Orthognathic) Surgery, Reconstruction of Facial Bone Fractures, Repair of Facial Lacerations, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders, Treatment of Congenital, Acquired and Pathological Problems of the Oral Cavity and Maxillofacial Region.
